Today we had the electricians. What we learned: electricians seem to be more efficient than plumbers. So much progress today. When I arrived to look around, the garage doors were closed and the front door had a lock on it. So I used the secret entrance. Ha! Here's a view of our garage doors. Some of the others that were recently built have windows that are rounded on the ends. I am glad this is what we got. I have no idea what our front door will actually look like. I just hope it isn't the one on there now.
Inside the garage, we have the giant spaghetti monster.
Look! Plugs...
And it looks like our project manager went through the house with his marker and noted all of the issues...
This is the where the door to the basement will be.
And the rest are in various spots...
Wiring to vanity lights!
And cam lights in one of our closets!
More markings....this is where they need to build a half wall in the attic around the steps.
I was wondering why it wasn't there?
This will be attic access (yes, we still have the traditional attic area. Ha) on the other side of the attic furnace side.
Trying to get a photo of the cam lights in the attic.
And just for fun, here's a panorama shot of the attic living area.
Today was the first day I felt excited about the house. Like really excited. I scored a pair of purple curtains at a large consignment sale for $5 and I can't wait to start filling this house with our own personality. We have been living in neutral for 5.33 years and I want to live in a fun house. Until Monday...
