Practically Finished

We are three days away from our final walk through and a week from tomorrow, we will be closing.  This will be the longest week in five plus years.  Almost everything seems to be complete now. We are still waiting for the yard and saw a few minor glitches inside.  It looks like they did a pretty major cleanup today.  Carpets were even vacuumed.

And the garage is pretty much cleaned out

Kitchen is cleaned up and crown molding is on

 

Dishwasher is installed...and it even has the stainless steel interior like we had in Oregon.

The girls' bathroom all cleaned up...probably the last time it will be so clean.

The last baluster is finally in!

Hard to see...but the screens are all in.

The half bath mirror is up...but is a little high for my taste.

Almost Over



 

The doors were all locked yesterday so we didn't expect to go in tonight. What a nice surprise...an unlocked service door.

 

It looks like the fixed the cabinet to allow the icemaker line a place to come through to the refrigerator.

 

 

The range and microwave are in. The countertops are also all secured.

My little island finally has its countertop.

And I have plugs on BOTH ends of the countertop.

I had to sacrifice a double wall oven for that attic...this was the best I could do.

Door knobs!  They are all in...except for the attic bedroom closet.

Master shower doors....not what I expected. The plan shows two glass panels and a swing out door...these look suspiciously like sliding doors.  UGH!!!!!!!!!

The trim we hated in the stairwell has been fixed! Yippee!!!
